| | Malam seharusnya menjadi waktu untuk tubuh kami beristirahat setelah seharian melaksanakan kegiatan, seperti bekerja, memperoleh ilmu, maupun kegiatan bedanya. Tidur malam idealnya harus dilangsungkan selama 8 jam, hal itu bertujuan agar sistem kerja tubuh dapat berjalan maksimal pada keesokan harinya.
Biasanya dari kami belum atau bahkan tanpa mau memperdulikan bahaya atau efek samping yang nantinya hendak ditimbulkan dari norma budaya begadang, seperti kesehatan fisik, efisiensi kerja maupun memperoleh ilmu, stres mental, dan kehidupan sosial dengan lingkungan sekitar. Padahal yang pengahabisan sekali suatu peristiwa begadang malam hari dengan cara terus menerus sangat buruk bagi kesehatan dan juga dapat menimbulkan penyakit yang berbahaya.
